Relvon Lip Butter review!

The Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters have had a lot of hype since being released in the U.S and U.K. They have been out for months overseas but as per usual only arrived on Australian shores  a little over a month ago. D & I have been so excited to try these, D actually bought her first one online before it was released here. When they finally came out we popped into Priceline and I picked up my first Lip Butter in the shade 'Strawberry Shortcake'. They are around the $22 mark here which may seem over priced for international readers but everything here gets marked up :(

So onto the review! I will be reviewing 'Strawberry Shortcake' & D will review 'Berry Smoothie' & 'Sweet Tart'! Pictures and Swatches Below!! x

'Strawberry Shortcake' is a light, creamy pink colour, thats bright but not un-wearable. The formulation is lovely, smooth and moisturising but it can sink into lines if your lips are a bit dry to start with, so I would recommend exfoliating them before hand with a scrub either bought (such as the Lush ones) or homemade (DIY lip scrub - caster sugar and olive oil or honey) or even your toothbrush! and putting on some lipnbalm/chapstick and let it sink in a bit. The pigmentation is great and you can apply it sheerly or built up for a more dramatic look. In terms of packaging, its fairly strurdy, fun and pretty and the clear top is a bonus. I really enjoy wearing this product and really want to try a few other colours! I've got my eye on 'Berry Smoothie' or some of the darker colours since its coming into winter here! Hope this helped you out, Love B x

'Berry Smoothie' is a berry, rose color and is, I think, one of the most natural looking and wearable of the lip butters. As B said, I would definitely recommend  using a lip balm and/or scrub before applying any of the Revlon Lip Butters.'Berry Smoothie' applies with great color and has a tiny bit of micro shimmer, which looks so pretty! I love love love this color and will definitely be repurchasing it when i run out!

'Sweet Tart' is a very bright pink color! It is a less wearable than 'Berry Smoothie' and is probably better for night or going out, rather than for everyday. Although it is a fun color to wear in summer!! It goes on rather opaque and has pretty good staying power. This lip butter does not have any shimmer and is much more hydrating than 'Berry Smoothie', although if your lips are on the dryer side, I would still recommend a lip balm underneath.

The Lip Butters packaging is great, I especially love the clear top, its a great idea!  The only thing that i was a tiny bit disappointed about is that none of the lip butters have a special scent, they are all the classic,  lipstick smell, which I don't hate, but I wouldve liked them to be a little scented.
Xx D

Nails: OPI Diva of Geneva

Diva of Geneva is another amazing color by OPI!
It is part of their 2010 Swiss Collection and I love love love
 this polish!!

It is a deep purple, Magenta color with a tiny bit of deep pink and micro shimmer.! It is perfect or the fall and winter!

Diva of Geneva went on smoothly and easily, and it did not streak at all! With two coats it is completely opaque and it drys really quickly. For the top coat,  I used Sally Hansens Nail Shine Miracle Top Coat, as it gives a extremely shiny, glossy and beautiful finish. Although this top coat takes a while to dry, it is totally worth the wait.

This is a perfect color for a formal event on your nails or toe nails and for me it usually lasts at least 3 days without chipping.

This is one of my favorite and most worn nail polishes! In Australia you can purchase OPI polishes at David Jones Stores and local boutiques.

Love D xoxo

Nails: OPI Shorts Story

Shorts Story is part of the Paige Denim collection by OPI and is the perfect Barbie pink color! This nail polish is extremely opaque and easy to apply, it went on without any streaking or bubbling. It also has great staying power, for me it lasted four days without any chipping. But of course a good top coat will help with this as well, I really like Sally Hansens Insta-Dri Top Coat for a glossy finish. Shorts Story is a great color for summer and looks amazing against tan skin! It's such a fun Girly color. A good pink is a must in every girls nail polish collection and I think Shorts Story is a great choice!!
