Quick Last Minute Gift Guide: 7 days to go!

All of a sudden there is less than a week until Christmas and you still have friends on your list who remain gift-less. It happens every year without fail for most of us out there. But never fear, if you want a quick reference point for gifts that your beauty loving friend or sister or anyone, will adore read on!
 (links and info below)

Now I'm going to have to kick  things of with NYX Cosmetics. Now I know its nothing new for the Americans out there, and even for the beauty junkies all around the world, but NYX has only just landed in Australia via Target. The best part? Not hideously over priced (as per usual!). I would go for the Butter Glosses, Soft Matte Lip Creams, Cream Blushes and  Jumbo eye pencils, all coming in at under $15 each! And you now what that means, extra cash to treat yourself ;)

Marc Jacobs perfume range has become a huge success and what better way to sample a few than with a sweet roller ball set?

Theres nothing nicer than a fresh mani/pedi for Christmas, so why not go with a polish fav Essie? They have some gorgeous festive shades on offer and with Priclines current two for $20 deal, take advantage!

Now for, big, voluminous, holiday curls, you cant go past this Vidal Sassoon curling wand. I have it and use it soo much its ridiculous. This wand can give you loose, I've-just-had-a-Kate-Middleton-blowout look, (just curl the ends, using lower heat setting) or big long lasting curls (higher heat, more sections and longer contact with the barrel). It comes in under $40, money well spent.

Candles have become increasingly popular and although its summer now, warmer weather has been taking its time and theres always a few cooler than usual days to burn something yum. I love these Eco wood wick candles, they smell delicious and sound like a crackling fire. Bourbon Vanilla is a fav.

Last but not least, the Too Faced Jingle All the Way palette is something that has been highly coveted in other guides and I couldn't resist popping it in. You get everything you need in one set, plus an iPhone case (sad iPhone C owner right now!). The value is great, especially for us Australians, coming in at under $40.

And, if all else fails, chocolate, candy canes, champagne and a season of Friends always goes down a treat.

Merry Christmas and happy shopping! (good luck!)

Always,
 B x

The Whitsundays | Holiday Time!

Recently, Brooke and I, along with another friend, were lucky enough to spend a week in the beautiful Whitsundays! We had an amazing time! We stayed at a place called 'Airlie Beach' which is a town on the mainland of Australia, although we flew into Hamilton Island. From Hamilton Island it was about an hour ferry ride to The Marina at Airlie Beach. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather for most of our trip, although we had a few rainy days. We got to visit the stunning Whitehaven Beach and also go snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. We thought we would share a few photo's on our blog of the incredible time we had! Hope you Enjoy xx
