Sally Hansen Lustre Shine - Chanel Peridot dupe?

After Darcie picked up a couple of Sally Hansen nail polishes in a Priceline sale and told me there was one that looked like Chanel's Peridot, I quickly snapped up two myself. Peridot is a shade that was extremely sought after a few years ago, and even until this day, easily accessible 'dupes' hadn't come out here in Australia. I lusted over the shade for a million years then totally forgot about it until now.

Priceline was having a 'buy one get one free' deal on the new collection, so what better time to buy and try? As soon as I saw the bottle I thought it looked pretty much exactly the same as Peridot. The name is 'Plume' and I tried it out immediately. With one coat I was slightly disappointed at the sheerness, but with two-three its excellent. It is VERY similar to Peridot, and I say that if you wanted it, check out this shade. Its truly duo-chrome with pretty shimmer. Looking at pictures of Peridot, I'd say the only real difference is that the gold in the Sally Hansen is a bit warmer, almost coppery, and it has more shimmer, but it really adds to the metallic finish. In both these polishes, the colour really depends on different lighting and the angle of view.

The second shade I got is also the same that Darcie picked out a deep blue called 'Azure'. I couldn't chose which colour I wanted to try first, so I ended up applying 'Plume' to my left hand and 'Azure' to my right. This blue is truly stunning. It's deep, but still 'bright', it really stands out. I would describe the colour as a shimmer-filled indigo/violet.

Something I have noticed with these polishes is the wear time. A week later, these polishes are almost chip-free, a huge deal for me as I struggle to get polish to last a good 3- 5 days.

If you see these around, definitely pick one up, highly recommend.
